Steve Kmetko is one of Hollywood’s best known entertainment reporters. As the original anchor of “E! News Daily” he helped turn the E! Channel into a cable television powerhouse.

Steve hosted countless interviews both in the studio and on the red carpet at the Oscars and Emmys.  Over the years, he has also hosted film festival coverage from Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Deauville and Sundance.

For a decade leading up to E!, Steve was the entertainment reporter for KCBS in LA as well as “CBS This Morning”. He  was also host of the syndicated shows “The Rock n’ Roll Evening News” and “Studio 22.”

Kmetko has portrayed himself on the big screen and in numerous television shows.  Acting credits include the films “Zoolander” and  “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back”, and the TV shows “ARLI$$” and “I’m With Her.”

Steve has been honored by The Los Angeles Press Club, The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and the National Gay and Lesbian Journalists Association.

He has also been profiled in People, GQ, The Advocate, Time-Out/New York and been selected one of Out magazine’s “Out 100” and one of the “Men We Love” by Genre.

Steve’s experience will be a tremendous asset to J2SC’s Entertainment Media Training team.
